Tango Agentine was the favorite among our group. I think it was the best use of the Short Film form. I really liked The Tonto Woman a lot, but it seemed to be a short only by virtue of having adapted a short story.
To my amazement, the animated films were an even more disappointing lot than the live actioners. Though i felt mostly 'meh' about the animateds ... while i truly loathed the other 3 live actioners. BUT ... a splendid time was had, as usual. And though we forgot to wear shorts ... short foods such as dim sum for lunch and tapas for late supper certainly fit the theme. Ah, and the shower in the men's room at the tapas joint was quite refreshing! ![]() |
