I heartily second the proper funding of Music Education. And in conjunction, I'd like to see stricter laws governing Hip Hop Control.

And more than Washington, I'd like people to pronounce "Oregon" correctly. Or just rename it Hippyland. Either one works.

I like messing with the music teachers where my kids go to school - they know I'm one to poke and also that I've got a music theory/comp degree, so I'll ask them things like "Why should we spend so much time on the arts instead of more time in math and science?" hehehehe. Gets 'em every time.

Hmm, free bacon, seems a bit much to me. How about if we guarantee the opportunity for everyone to purchase bacon at affordable prices? You can opt out of the bacon if you wish. After all, why should religious Jewish and Muslim Americans be forced to pay for others' bacon?

Libraries in elementary schools would be my pet project, including a full time library media technician for each.
