If coyotes found their way to Golden Gate Park I'm sure a rabbit can make it to the hood. Though that doesn't look like a domestic wild breed.

I'd not name it since that will just get you more attached and make it suck more when it suddenly disappears.

oh, Im betting I know right where he came from. a guy across and down the street a bit has a large pen in his front yard that at some point had a number of rabbits in it.

did I mention he also BBQ's a lot?

no way Im sending him back there. Id rather he vanish outright

besides, hes mowing the lawn that I loathe touching...so hes earning his keep.

The rabbit we adopted some years ago from the San Francisco Animal Shelter had been found bounding around Hunters Point.

Its shelter name was Zelda, which we kept. It suited her, and it also allowed me to wax operatic a la Elmer Fudd.
