In my house those are "Japanese" traits. I'll ask Lani if something is still fresh enough to eat and she'll say yes. Then I'll pause and remember that I need to ask "Is that Japanese fresh or American fresh."

I have a strange bump on my foot. Right on top of the knuckle that connects the big toe to the rest of the foot. I suspect my shoes, but I still can't explain WHAT the bump is. Feels solid. Annoying, I hope it goes down again soon. Ah well, weekend is coming up. Different shoes for different job.
