Aren't ferrets illegal in CA?

Do you have dates you will be in town? I have some matches that are burning a hole in my pocket. Ouch ouch ouch!

Umm... I have no idea what to say, but my first thought was... well ferrets are illegal here.

But I do want to meet you this time. Even though I will not be participating in MA.
