Another Easter issue, and I'm not sure it's been brought up here, are the ducks and chicks that get bought around this time of year as well. Many families don't know what they're getting into, and these animals are often left for dead out in the urban wild. Worse, are the chicks who are dyed various Easter colors. The whole issue saddens me.

People actually dye chicks?! Umm, why? Wouldn't that be harmful to the poor chick?

I never understood people buying animals for holidays, unless you wanted one for your birthday or something.

One of my bunnies was a Easter reject the other one was supposed to be snake food

They passed away a long time ago and I haven't had another since.
