Arthur C. Clark Dies

Without question my favorite Science Ficiton author, and one of the forces behind my favorite film of all time. This is a biggie. iSm is right. Clark's ideas about our future (present) were grander than we had it in us to bring about. Here's to that space elevator I hope we manage to build within the next 100 years.

Oh, and I recommend The Songs of Distant Earth, if you want a great single volume visionary work by this great man.
