				            | I had a German friend who made #8 all the time. Nasty stuff (even bacon couldn't save it)!

				            | That pickle-bacon recipe got me thinking... I wonder how a bacon-olive tapenade would taste?

				            | I got snookered into eating at a Chili's the other day (meeting Mom for lunch and avoiding a drive to Riverside). I'd never been, and I'd never had a desire to go, now I'm mentally cataloging the location of each one I see. Let me tell you about the bacon cheeseburger. Nearly 1/2 inch thick sliced bacon, somewhat candied like we had on New Year's Eve. Was there a burger involved? I'm sure there was, but I can't remember it well enough to describe it except to say that it came with the most amazing bacon. The waiter said it was new on the menu. He was very chatty, but not cute enough to put up with for long. My stepfather said he must have had a lot of coffee, I opined that I thought it was crack. But the burger was good. And they did a very nice bunless version for me. Conjunctions be damned, I will return.

| Nueve | Need to keep note. We have a lot of chains out here in Utah, and knowing where the good items are helps immensely.
