Los Angeles Air Force Base in El Segundo is one of the big groups that works with JPL. My Ex-Stepfather was an officer there. It always made me laugh that they called it LAAFs (pronounced "laughs") for short.

Oh, and I've named every single one of my cars, and I've always had the license plates match the name ever since personalized plates were allowed (yes, I've been driving since before personalized plates and before your mother was born).
