I know that in the past, the "you'll be charged for checking a 2nd bag" disclaimers were fairly noticeable at time of purchase on the various travel sites. Not necessarily right up front, but any cursory reading of the summary of charges let you know what was up. If this is handled the same way, then I have no problem with it.
