Your thread inspired us to go camping over the Memorial Day weekend. We stayed at Buck Rock campground - pretty primitive.

The short story - it snowed! Lot's. With extra fog.

We will be bringing two stoves: a large Coleman (three burner, 15K BTU) as well as our Road Warrior (or whatever it is called). between us and others, there should be no need to worry about stoves.

If anyone needs a tent, we may have an extra. After just spending one night in our lawn pimple this past weekend, she is insisting we get a larger tent for this trip. If we can find and secure one before KC, our current tent will be available.

If I do drive up early saturday morning - is there anyone who would like a ride? Also, if there is no job waiting for me on Monday, I thought about staying an extra day past the "norm."

At this point, my option is to leave anytime after Friday after work (probably around 5PM), but I will have to leave Sunday in time to get to work on Monday.

My thought - If there is someway of getting back with someone who leaves Sunday and I wonder if somehow getting near me (Metro? Universal?) because I'im in South East Ventura County.

Idea - Meet at Metro Universal in early AM saturday - go from there.

Question: was the plan to go up late Wednesday to be there Thursday early? I took Wednesday,Thursday and Friday (and the following Monday) off from work.
