I thought that was that fear of going into your sleeping parents room- touching them and finding them dead- not that you wished them dead.

Maybe. I thought they were contrasting the girl's expression with the "happy, happy" photo on the bedside table. Angels and insects, as it were.

The little girl is played by my daughter and current headliner Chloe, the star of PHOBIA, CANDY, and my upcoming film BLACK LULLABY. Chloe is an amazing actress. Out of concern for her mental well being she was photographed on set separately from the murder scene. She is still an innocent!
