IMHO, the photos are over-saturated. The colors do not look natural to me.
But I work in print, so this is the kind of thing I look at. Is that before or after the curmudgeon-off?

That sounds like a spray you use to ward off grumpy old people ( and I want a case of it)!

Who said good photography has to look natural?

To me, the photos look over-saturated. That is my opinion regardless. Not that over-saturated in and of itself is bad, but to me, they are close enough to natural to make them look like and over-saturated version of something that should look closer to natural.
This is also dependent on each person's monitor and viewing conditions. What may look over-saturated on my monitor could look OK on someone else's monitor. If one were to try to print those photos using four-color process (the standard printing process for full-color reproduction), they would be very disappointed when the printed color looks nowhere near what they are seeing on the screen.
