Thanks to all for the kind words about my first postings. One advantage is that I took a real typing class when I was 13 and I can type pretty well. I learned in Mexico on the old black Royal typewriters that are more gaps than keys. All the guys made fun of me, asking whose secretary I was planning to be, and could they dictate a letter, and why I would want learn a girlie skill.

The thing about writing is that it's not real time. If you have a totally dis-proportionate system of time allocation like I do, you obsess on things until they are right. The downside to this is that I am going to seem like a dud in person; being on in real time is a whole different skill.

I think in person I am more reserved and introspective like Pongo (of Channel 43-C Thailand Cable Access: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z0mnJ...ature=related), and hopefully, like him, I exude a kind of silent wisdom.
