The last three movies we've been to have been at the new theater at the Americana in Glendale. It's a nice theater with stadium seats - and there's never a line. The only problem is that the crowd is never one that I can identify with (i.e. not as many fanboys/girls and more HS kids and families), so I feel I'm missing a key part of the opening weekend experience.

The Americana has been very good to me so far as the blockbusters go, MP is right -- no crowds. But MP is also right about the audience, last Saturday I had to get up from my seat and 'talk' to a group of kids who wouldn't shut up or stop using their phones to text. They stopped, all right, but you don't get that sort of thing at the Arclight. Regardless, I'll be at the Americana, it is just too much a part of my routine for me to stop going now.
