I havne't seen the cover large enough to really get a good look - but the small one in toribear's signature looks awkward.

I agree with you about Bella - somewhat. But remember that's she's still very young - not much in the way of life experience. Not that any of us have any with vampires - but she's never had any serious romantic relationship with boys. That's some of it. I know I was I dolt at times growing up - but sure couldn't see it then.

At one point, I coulnd't wait for her to get changed. Now I think - why not enjoy it for awhile... although she does get older all the time. But someone to spoil her, watch over here, love her, etc...

Edward can sure be overbearing at times. I'd read in af few places someone saying he was the abusive boyfriend type. meh. I think many (most?) women are torn between wanting to be totally independent vs. taken care of. The new woman mixed with the old.
