Anybody else feel an earthquake half an hour ago? I woke up and felt the house swaying in 4 separate little rounds but the USGS site has nothing. I could attribute one round to a train going by but it was more than we usually get from trains and it went too long.

Anyone ever wondered what their dollar was worth way back when ?

I was watching the WDW Opening TV show and there was an ad for a GAF camera with film & souvenir book for $30.00 (in 1971)

Using the above site: that would cost $160.29 today

This one happened at 4:19AM this morning, but it was only a 1.2 so it seems unlikely you felt it (unless you live right there).

The dogs woke me up at around that time, so maybe it was a heard of Goldens running about causing the shake.

It only took five different calls to tech support (three today but one was my fault since I accidently hung up waiting for the PC to reboot) but I have an internet connection that works again. I blamed my neighbors for taking up bandwidth downloading porn but it turned out that my four-year old modem was the culprit. Now I even have faster service for half the price. And the router works. The router works! I feel like taking a few Rocky-style victory laps.
