You may find it boring, I find it interesting. (And keep in mind that I have never in my life eaten corned beef so I had certain images in my head based on the name that weren't really accurate.)


Of course, there is also the fact that pretty much all beef eaten by Americans in this day and age is corned beef (here referring to the modern American meaning of the word corn).

Alex: Good corned beef rocks, bad corned beef not so much. For your first try of it, I'd go with an actual corned beef entree, not a sandwich. More likely to get the good stuff that way.

There isn't likely to be a first try of it since I don't eat beef. So if they make good non-beef corned beef then I'll have some.

They do make some good non-beef pastrami so that usually suffices for reubens.

Katella Deli has this sandwich which has both corned beef AND pastrami. THAT sandwich ROCKS!
