Within the circle I was in, I had two glaring omissions in who I had no interest in following but most others did.

Plus, since the text messaging function is the only way the service was of use to me (no access by web at work) with following just 10 people I was getting more than 100 text messages a day and so even vibration was annoying which made me turn off my ringer completely meaning I wouldn't know when I was getting actual calls or text messages of value.
