Tell me about it. The only reason we got ours so cheaply is because the previous owners were lazy and they let the house go to pot. One week of elbow grease and we have the place looking wonderful. The house across the street, with the exact same floor plan as ours, went on the market for 420K while ours was still in escrow.

Now that's a jump and a half geeez!!!!! It's so crazy and it just keeps getting worse. I was looking online a couple of weeks ago and out of 25 houses here, in our district 4 were not sale pending or sold!

It's depressing, that's for sure. I'd rather go to the dentist than look for a home in this market again. And I hate going to the dentist.
