I think this is quite true, because most of the skeptics I know also hate seeing people happy, often calling them "stupid". So, it's like they want to debunk anything and everything to prove to the world that they are "smart" and the rest of the world is "stupid", when in reality, they're just using "skepticism" as a facade for their own insecurities about why they don't fit in with the world. And, I've noticed they're not very happy people in general.

I'm not saying all skeptics are like this, but a lot of the ones I've met are constantly wanting to debunk everything to the point of obsession. I've had to restrain myself from saying, "The rest of the world are not all nutjobs. It's just you."
