The Walnut Creek Local is closed. Becoming a "Cheescake factory" Andronico's is no more....

There are a great many Cafe's up main street throughout Walnut Creek, that might allow you to get your foot in the door.

I know you asked about foodies, but if you are around Ghirardelli Square, see if one of my favorite artists, Dave Archer, is still showing at a gallery right across Larkin Street from Ghirardelli Square? It used to be called Swanson Fine Art, but it appears to be something else now (just to the left of Vitkovsky Fine Art - I can't quite make out the name in this image.)

The best way to experience his art is in person.
