We always go to the polling place and take the kids along. Want them to realize it is important, and for some reason, going to the polling place as a family seems to emphasize the point more with them.

What if it turns out your candidate is really a five headed hydra from the planet Garfarco? You'll feel pretty silly then.

My dad used to take me growing up (my mom has a green card) and I still feel the same way iSm does. I also worry about lost or purposely messed with mail, even if I hand it in to the post office myself. That said, there was one year I stood in line for well over an hour, and it was aggravating. I'm sure it'll be a busy year this time as well, though I'm now at a new polling place.

Polls open at 7am so I think I'll break my evening voting tradition and get up early this year. Wake 'n Vote!

I'm pretty much convinced that both major candidates are five headed hydra with socialist venom constantly spewing from their mouths. It makes me want to puke!

Yes, my parents, too. It definitely ingrained in me the idea that voting is an exciting and important responsibility.
