normandie is actually my second favorite, behind the '26 ile de france. normandie's first class dining salon was stunning - wish i could have seen it in person. i have a book with extensive post-fire photos, and that space in particular is heartwrenching to look at. oh, and i like the casdcading decks aft to the fantail, too. ;Dfrance/norway is my third favorite, because those diversion funnels were so freaking awesome AND because I loved the quirky, pre-NCL midcentury interiors. she's on my mind a lot lately for obvious and depressing reasons. ![]() i like the cunarders, too. and the big u!
