really.

new people that want to change everything their first week without first understanding what's already being done... and all that without communication between departments... SUCKS!!!

I'm feeling so very frustrated and depressed. Good thing it's Friday and I can take a break from it all.

I work in a great place but man there are times that the politics piss you off to no end! Especially when our offices talk about our "values" and how we need to work by this "standard" but certain people get treated differently and aren't expected to live up to those same standards cuz they are suck ups!!! Can I say more??

So I feel your pain!

Regular Occurance #1

"Can you complete this project for me using these criteria?"

"Sure"

Fast forward 2 days to the completed project.....

"This is all wrong!"

"I followed your criteria"

"I changed my mind. You did it wrong. Now you're behind schedule."

Regular Occurance #2

Monday a.m.....

"I need this finished for a presentation on Wednesday"

Tuesday around noon...

"Are you finished yet? I need to fax a copy of that out."

"You said Wednesday morning..."

"I meant Tuesday at noon."

I love my job. I really do.

Ooh, I've got a similar one to Occurance #2:

"Here's a schedule with specific milestones on specific days, to be completed in two weeks."

"Okay, I will have it done in two weeks and maintain the schedule of milestones."

3 days later, everything exactly on schedule.

"So you'll have this done by the end of the week, right?"

"Umm, I'm going by the schedule for the end of next week."

"That's okay, don't have to follow that. Have it done by this week."

"THEN WHY DID YOU MAKE THE BLOODY SCHEDULE YOU BRAINDEAD MORON!!!"

Okay, maybe not the last part. I'm so glad I don't report to her anymore.
