It's pretty smoky smelling here and the sunlight has that weird quality that I always find really creepy. At least we're located in an area that is pretty safe fire-wise. However, maybe I won't be lighting the Tiki Torches tonight.

With all the Skype activity, I might hold off attending until about 9pm PTO or whatever it's called. This will ensure best use of bandwidth to maximise transmission. Nothing worse than a conversation that sounds like:

"A.. ..oha ....em... .C...ket ......ame ....ing.... ....but I'd love to ...... you .....time."

She called me a while ago and I gave her your number. She said she wasn't sure about making down because of the fires. I will PM you her number.

Also, I am not sure about us due to the fire near us. While I am sure we will be okay, I may want to stay close to home for a while. We'll play it by ear.
