Well... We didn't go to Fry's, and we didn't go to the QM. We went down to 2nd Street and and walked around. Then we had lunch at Shorehouse Cafe. On the way back to the car from the restaurant we bought a new lamp.

Driving home we spotted an open house at a cool looking Spanish Revival house. We went in for a look. 3 bedroom, 1 bath - wood floors - lots of character... but it needs a lot of work. Kitchen and bath looked like they were last "updated" in the 60's. Lots of stick-on "stained glass" window film and gold veined mirror tiles throughout the house. The garage had been converted into a mother-in-law unit. $729,000.

Right now, I have an angel food cake in the oven.
