Thank you for the review of the tours. I was considering booking a tour for our trip later this summer, in part for the reserved seating for Remember. I think I'll wait and see if they move the seating area before I commit $165 for a poor view. The seating for PoD sounds great though, so we may take the tour for that. Are reservations taken 30 days in advance like the F! balcony seating?
Thanks again. |

On the evening of July 7th (Saturday) the tour's reserved areas was in the walkway exiting the Hub directly towards the castle. Just about the most optimum spot there is. No idea if that will be the permanent spot (and it must be a bear getting the tour into that space). When I was in that area on the 6th, it was full of people pretty much immediately after the parade went by.

Last night, it was in the same spot. We had seats (well, ground space) right in front of it, and can attest to the fabulous view. That night, once the parade was over, they first CLEARED the hub, roped off the premium seating area, THEN let people back into the hub to grab spots for 'works viewing. It also appeared that they had left a small roped off walkway behind and the right (facing the castle) of the premium seating area along the planter to allow easy access for people in and out. Also, if you have trash and don't feel like wading through the crowd to get rid of it, just leave it just inside the premium seating rope. It'll be taken care of ![]() It seems that right now they're just playing it by ear with crowd control. With the Regis and Kathy stage still blocking the front of the castle, it was impossible to come up with any sort of consistent policy. On Friday they were allowing people to hang out on the front edge of the hub (on the sidwalk outside the hub) for hours beforehand, while on Sunday they had that the front quarter of the outside ring of the hub roped off until just before the parade started. I'm sure they're itching to get rid of that stage so they can get to devising a more permanent crowd control solution.

Glad to hear that they at least knew the original fireworks viewing location was a problem.
