So Ka was impressive. Live flame, acrobatics, and an acrobatic stage floor. The storyline was kind of meh, but whaddya want. I went to see a spectacle, and I got it.

I also got to visit the Liberace museum yesterday. Great stuff.

Happy me.

I'm watching AC/DC: No Bull - at close to concert volume, alone in my living room.

Just got home from an unexpected dinner with my sister. (She drove down on a whim this afternoon.)

She gave me a gorgeous light blue Coach purse and wallet.

I've never had a name brand purse before. It's purdy!

We found the magic that keeps a 3 year old quiet and relatively motionless for an hour and a half... Polar Express in surround sound.

I have just returned from a dinner with a fine company of good friends of perfectly done prime rib, cheesy potatoes (with bacon), an excellent red wine and a generous slice of apple pie that I neither had to prepare nor pay for.

sometimes, truly...life is good

We just got back from dinner with Venezia's family. Yummy food (so much I didn't even try everything!) and a game of Munchkin. And leftovers thrust upon us to take home - homemade baklava and something that looks like spanakopita but is called something else in Armenian.

Just watched "It's a Wonderful Life". One of the lessons Capra taught us in the film is that without George, Mary's life if depressing, empty and unfulfilled. How do we know this? In the shorthand of storytelling, it's all made clear by telling us she's a LIBRARIAN!

I couldn't help thinking of CP.
