I resolve this year once again to never make New Year's Resolutions.

I believe John Lennon had it right when he said, "Life is what happens to you when you're busy making other plans."

I find it pointless to make resolutions when Life is going to come in and muck it all up for me anyway, so I like to "keep it loose' and "go with the flow". That way I can take action on doing something that needs doing when it's most appropiate.

I also find oftentimes that talking about something takes the place of doing it. There's no better way for me to kill an idea than for me to say, "This is what I'm going to do."
