I can't stop giggling at the thought of you running to Payless on your lunch, wearing what you have on your feet now, desperately hoping they have something more decent in stock. The chances are not that great. You might be better off just enjoying your lunch and trying to not notice what you're wearing on your feet. You know, like you didn't notice it when you got in the car this morning? Try to get back to that place of disconnection from your feet.

I'm rather amused by that. How many dreams have I had where I realize I'm not wearing a shirt? Too many. lol. I've done the black and blue sock trick myself. But the sandals thing. Just claim it's the new fashion - you trend setter you!

If anyone high enough up sees me, that might still happen. Fortunately it's pretty easy to avoid people. But I've got a meeting after lunch, and any cheap pair of actual shoes from Payless would be more acceptable than the ridiculous sandals I'm currently wearing.
