I remember driving past Winslow years ago, and those damned lyrics were stuck in my head from there to Kansas. (They were replaced by 'Dust In the Wind', which was even more horrific).

Jackson Browne is the songwriter of the song "Take It Easy" from the where the line "Well I'm a standing on a corner in Winslow Arizona" comes from. The song was performed by the Eagles.

Random comment - This doesn't in the least seem worth its own thread, so let me just say, re: Michael Phelps scandal -

OMG! A college student smoked POT!!!!! And later went on to become a famous athlete!!!!! That's so wrong!!!

Sorry, just had to get that out there. What a freaking nontroversy! I would love it if Phelps had acknowledged the picture and then said, "Pfft. Yeah? So?"
