Okay, not technically a Fail, but it is a Microsoft inanity.
In typing an email (in Outlook using Word as my editor), I typed the sentence, "Attached are the [item 1], [item 2], and [item 3] for the..." Since I leave the spelling and grammar check mode on, it put a green squiggly line under "are" (the second word in the sentence). The suggested fix was to change "are" to "is." I accepted the change. Now the word "is" had a green squiggly line under it. The suggested fix? "are" ![]()
