I just learned that Valentino had a dog. He was an Irish Wolfhound named Centaur Pendragon.

He had more than one! That's a great pic!

A pair of German Sheperds Marquis and Sheik, a doberman named Kabar, a Mastiff (whose name I forget), the wolfhound he got in 1926 (his brother Alberto chided him on the expensive purchase) and Mayor Rolph (of SF) gifted him with a beautiful black spaniel named Mission Rudy. Poor Mission Rudy was given to RV on what would be his last visit to SF in July 1926, he was returned to Mayor Rolph. Here he is in front of the Fairmont Hotel with Mission Rudy.
