One of the things they did in the video (in my OP) was a defrag (that was lightening quick).

That is a problem with the tech industry in general. Advances tend to make things smaller and faster.

If you read the big warning box on the label for that particular model of Intel SSD, it says "DO NOT DEFRAGMENT"

So I wonder if that issue is unique to Intel, or if no one has yet taken the time to real world benchmark other brands.
