I had to do it.

I have to add, major snaps to the person who created the costumes. Instantly recognizable, instantly iconic. I sent the original jpeg to an Oz nut friend of mine who howled like mad and called me to laugh some more.

In addition to the obvious WHY factor, what strikes me is just how different two dogs who should look practically alike, actually do look from one another. Their faces are so expressive! Neither one is saying anything good, though.

Another sad thing about this photo is that my son did not recognize the flying monkeys! I am a failure. I know I have that DVD around here somewhere. Sheesh. That can't stand. He should join the ranks of every other kid who was freaked out by the monkeys swooping down out of the dark sky.
