| I Floop the Pig | Having been released from work early for Good Friday, wanting to give my new sandals a walking test, and actually being in Orange during hours when things are open, I spent a couple hours wandering antiques malls. I was mostly keeping my eye out for a little garden table (shockingly, among 7 giant consignment malls, I found exactly zero. WTF?). But I came across the following. Unfortunately, we have absolutely no use for any of it. But it's a gorgeous array of mid century furniture, and the marked prices are surprising: The display cabinet in back was marked around $300. The lamp/table that's cut off on the right side of the picture was about $120. And the coffee table, the piece I desperately wish I had space for, $140! It's got a drawer underneath, which is marked "Stanley Distinctive Furniture" and it's in wonderful shape (at least the top. I didn't really inspect it to see what kind of shape it's in underneath). But All of the pieces looked in beautiful condition. Anyone interested, I can direct you to the mall and the right stall. Here are a few detail shots.

				            | That is a great price for that coffee table, especially considering the wood used in it. Can I assume that the white rectangular thing in the lower corner is just a price tag?
