The Boy has decided that he wants an allowance (at least this week) and has been cleaning like crazy. So far he has washed my car, cleaned under the brat cage (where Puffy pushes out the litter, because she is a snot), washed the livingroom windows, washed the back door, emptied the dishwasher and even attempted to clean the gutters over the patio. We are now trying to figure out what drug he is on so that we can give him more.

He started this yesterday. He got bored and washed the b/f's car.

Last Saturday we celebrated Packy's birthday. This is a big deal in Portland - and has been for 47 years!

The elephant ears for the kids are a cute idea, but Packy's cuter and seemed to love the birthday cake. What were the candles on Packy's cake--carrots and celery?

And this reminds me, I need to renew my membership to the Zoological Society of San Diego (San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park), too.

I would like to report that last night I had a dream that I was in a musical with Aquaman, who was real. Actually, the whole thing was real, people just kept breaking into song.
