Had a very positive interview for W C Penfold Stationers in the city for a customer service role. I'll know in a week if they want me for the second stage - an interview with the Director of the company !! (eek)

Stoat and I also passed our provisional riding tests on the scooter and in 12 months will have full-fledged unrestricted bike licences. Yay !

I'm so happy I had to have a spoonful of Marmalade. (yes, I know...)

I have good news that I think I can actually divulge now.

I fell in love with a high concept pet boutique that is located in downtown LA and approached them maybe 9 months ago about opening a Long Beach location. It has gone from "who is this woman on crack" to "we're interested, can you give me a tour of LB" to "looking for locations" to "signing a lease for a store on 2nd Street in Belmont Shore". The lease was signed yesterday, the keys are ours tomorrow, the built-out starts immediately and our opening date is October 1. I'm so excited I could scream but I'm also scared shytless. Change is good but man is it scary! But, this combines all of my loves into one great package. So, it's back to work full time for me (and Thurston gets to come to work too!). We'll be having a big opening party and I hope all of you locals can come.

How the HECK did we miss this???? YAAAAAAAAAAAAAY to NA. We want pics.
