Oh, and thank you everyone.

I'm currently awaiting news on when and what will be happening in memoriam for my grandmother. As she is being cremated (time, we has it), and there are a number of people possibly traveling from afar, it may be some time before there is anything official.

Erica, my dad was cremated, and it worked out really well to hold the memorial at a later date. That way I could get a reasonable plane fare. He was interred still later, as the ground was too frozen to dig at the memorial.

Whatever you and your family decide will be right.

And yes, each grief experience is different. I hope for peace for you. **hugs**

I'm seriously tempted by a $9 o/w fare JFK - ORD from JetBlue on Saturday. Total cost would be about $160 if I return on Monday. I need to get the hell out of here.
