I still get an unsettling feeling whenever I see this kind of thing. All I can picture is the anit-gay crowd saying, "Aha, so if it's genetic and/or hormonal, we can just fix it with gene therapy or hormones! Treat it like the disease that it is!" Proving it's "natural" does nothing to solve the problem, imo.

It's an interesting area of study, but I have serious doubts that its the silver bullet in the debate that many people seem to think it is.

You're absolutely right GD. The whackjobs who hate gays because their invisible friend told them to do so will never be dissuaded by science and/or facts. If the Bible, Koran, Tanakh, or Harvey tells them the sky is green, that's the end of the discussion.
