back when I started in the biz (right around 1980), we had a corporate party when we reached the 'awe inspiring' magical 1 gig storage.
it consisted of 8 removeable pack hard drives, each the size of a washing machine. this thing was dream tech in 1980. now, its the size of a toenail this was 1 gig storage 'way back when' and its current version next to it for comparison ok, now I feel bloody old.
