Indeed. She was a good kitty. Thanks, everybody. We'll bury her either tonight or tomorrow.

In the meantime, I had a nice 17 mile bike ride and stopped off a little museum that I've looked at for ages and finally got a chance to go in. Today's taken a long time to get things done, but that's ok. Called my mom, and chatted with the museum keeper, which means I didn't get back home until 3:30. Meant to be done by noon but that didn't happen.

Hehehee!!! Not only is it a silly bike, but it's about four times oversized! I think it makes me look delicate and pretty.

Actually the place where I take my mountain bike to be worked on has a couple of big-wheel bikes that you can play with. They're strange...

Sorry to hear about the kitty, ABG. I'm always sad to hear of feline friends who must leave too soon. For small critters they sure leave such big holes in our lives.

Well, last Thursday I dropped my daughter off at Pacific University in Forest Grove. I was there an blue before her and her mother, but that's another story.

It was harder than I thought it would be. I've said goodbye to Erin any number of times, often for long periods, but somehow this was different. We set her up in the dorm and I made sure she had some speniding money and bought her books.

I said goodbye to my little girl. From now on, she's a grown woman with her own life, goals and plan. She's chosen a path and is agressively following it. From now on, I'm a spectator in her life.

I'm feeling old and alone.
