Hubby's Birthday tonight, so have ressies at Cafe Orleans. Haven't seen the fireworks yet (at least not as a guest), so looking forward to this.

OMG, made great tacos sort of impromptu tonight.

Amounts are approximate, but about 3/4-1 lb of ground beef, browned, add in 1/4 (finely chopped) medium onion. Generous amount of chili powder, some pepper and salt. When onions are starting to look cooked, pour in 1 small can of tomato sauce (the little half-can looking ones). Couple dashes of Tapatio (hot sauce) near the end.

Assembled taco was meat, shredded cheddar, sour cream, green onion and shredded lettuce on flour tortilla. Heaven!

Slow cooker Chili Stew turned out a win! Hubby ate 3 bowls of it and Wolfette didn't complain (which is a miracle in itself).

Homemade spaghetti and meat balls w/garlic bread (not homemade).

Will have meatball sandwiches later this week.

Normally Wednesday is "go get sushi" night. Since it's rainy and cold (and Olivia's at her dad's) I believe I'll make a frozen a Marie Callender's chicken fried chicken dinner and creamed spinach.
