I'm a little bit different.

So, speaking of differences, what's generally the difference between an inside Stateroom with a Virtual Porthole, and an outside Stateroom with a touch of oceanside veranda??

I'm not known to skimp ... which is why i won't be able to afford a cruise until 2016.

About double the cost per person, about 50 more square feet of space, plus the veranda.

However, the Virtual Portholes are going to have random characters that pop up in them from time to time.

We've only done one Disney cruise so far - planning another one in 2 years, when Heather's brother hits a milestone birthday.

For me, the ability to open a window and get fresh air is an absolute must - and having a little veranda with a place to have a semi-private cup of coffee is a big plus. Worth the extra bucks, I say.

We're doing Alsaska in 2011 and sprung for the veranda. On any other cruise I'd be fine with no view but the Alaska cruise you actually have views and I'm going to enjoy them on my veranda gosh darn it.

We are doing the Wonder's LA-to-Vancouver repositioning in April 2011 and staying onboard for a back-to-back to the first Alaska cruise. Thirteen nights, should be heavenly. Verandah stateroom, always. Hopefully no smokers in the next cabin forward like there were on our just-concluded cruise on the Magic.

The overnight in San Francisco should be interesting. Should we just go home for the day? Check on the cats, get the mail?

The Wolfpack has no interest in the Alaskan cruise, but come January 26th, 2011 (or shortly after), we'll be boarding the Dream in Florida!

I'll concede a veranda making a difference. 4 walls and a small circle of glass vs. 4 walls and small circle of LEDs vs. 4 walls and no circle, I couldn't care less.
