Well, it would go to teachers who would not otherwise be fired. It's hard not to think there's not enough money in the world though given the number of business failings we've had in town.

At one of these meetings, I'll have to address the elephant in the room, though, and point out how many of us are carrying our children's educational futures around on our own ass. Maybe it's time to call The Biggest Loser.

And I don't think it's a derail. Any discussion of Romanesque frivolity begs a discussion of ignored priorities.
