This isn't as dumb as you might think. I don't know that I would be calling it something related to a facial though. When you remove hair from that area things can get ingrown and it's not like you have a real great view and can fix things up.

While I agree that the beautify your snootch idea seems to be going overboard in some areas (my pink button for example), ingrown hair help for your nether regions isn't a bad idea.
