Wow, I'm VERY surprised it's not available here. I've seen that version countless times on various cable channels over the years.

The preview for the Jackson version was very promising...when GD started laughing at the dinosaurs, I had to explain to him that there were dinosaurs in the original movie.

Dinosaurs indeed, including the never before filmed carnivorous brontosaurus!

My son said "Hey, that's a brontosaurus. They don't eat meat". I wonder how the new version will deal with that little issue.

Watching the new trailer right after seeing the original it looks like Mr. Jackson is staying very true to the original movie.
