Not sure if you know, but that was the intent of the photographer. I don't know if it was a posed shot but it is by René Maltête, who was famous for his witty photographic compositions. You can see more of hi stuff (not sure if that one is there) here.

It's possible that I may have a two week visit to Des Moines in September - I will have to remember this (as I am sure I will be dying for things to do!).

But there is not any free time this visit.
