If by "wee hidden" you mean "right out in the middle of the thing where anyone could easily accidentally slice themselves on an unnecessarily sharp piece of metal", then yeah.

Actually, I said "well hidden" with a hint of sarcasim, but at any rate- yikes! What are people thinking when they do stuff like that?

"Hey Joe, do ya think I need to shorten this here sharp pipe sticking way out of this steam thing?"
